Our plane started to take off, but then it was like, “j/k LOL” and we have been sitting at the gate for the past 45 minutes. It’s cool though- they gave us free headphones. I’m totally mollified now. Thanks American Airlines!! Gold star!

Eric and I drove by Google hq tonight. It was, of course, neat looking. Now I’m kicking myself for not taking pics of it.
good quarter
I finally raised my GPA to a 3.5 this quarter. One of my goals was to graduate from NU with a 3.5, so, mission accomplished!
Eric and I are heading to the Sonoma Valley tomorrow and spending tomorrow night/Wednesday there.

It really feels like Easter in California. Springtime means sun, warmth and azaleas! Almost as good as a spring in Atlanta.

…and it’s snowing. I really hope our flight isn’t canceled. Eric and I are going to California for spring break, and I’m already craving in-n-out.
I went to B-dubs last night with Eric, Jake and Ann for the first night of March Madness. So far my bracket is good, I only called two games wrong.

I’m all done with finals et cetera for the quarter. Time to get some chores done and chill out. Spring Break! Eric and I leave for California on Friday.

I'm sick
I seem to have caught a cold this weekend. I managed to avoid catching one all winter, which I attribute to living in my own clean apartment. The dorm and sorority house were always incubi of disease.
So, to try to fend it off, I’m doing my typical routine, chugging water to flush out my system, steam showers to help my sinuses, and pumping myself full of meds. I’m about to hop...
ugh, It’s 8 am and I’m up voluntarily, and I’m going to be starting drinking in 30 minutes. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you, too. At the moment, I just want to sleep more… I am glad I’m going downtown to see the river turn green. It’s one of the things on my list of “Chicago stuff I want to do before I graduate”.

Everyone told me Law and Ethics had a super hard final blah blah blah. We just got our grades back and my group got a 100 on the final. Suck on that bitches. The average was an 88. So, overall I ended up with a 96 in the class.

This is such a huge weight off my shoulders. Now I know that I’m at least going to go to law school next year.
extension
Got an extension on my French paper. Now it’s due tomorrow at 5. I still need to get it done tonight because I have to work for 4 hours tomorrow and I said I’d drive Jinny to the airport around noon. BUT, that means econ problem set comes to the top of my list. Meeting Anna and Courtney at norbucks at noon to work on that. AND, top chef Chicago premiere tonight!

Finished my Law and Ethics final. Now I have a 3-5 page French paper due tomorrow, an Econ problem set due tomorrow, then next Tuesday final video project for French and Econ final on Wednesday. It’ll be nice to have a mini-break this weekend.

My tires on my car are low (note to self: take care of this shit) and I was looking in the glovebox to see if there was a tire pressure gauge in there. This weekend Eric, my mom and I went to DeLaCosta, a downtown Tapas restaurant.
