This just happened to my iphone. It’s apparently called a dead strip. The bottom row (grey area of the home screen) has stopped responding to touch. I can unlock it, so it’s not totally dead. My mom and I went to Room at TWELVE as a part of Atlanta Restaurant Week, which meant we were having a $25 prix fixe three-course dinner. Thus, I had a limited selection of their offerings. This is another Atlanta legend when it comes to restaurants. Before the restaurant even opens, there’s a line. Every night. Taqueria del Sol comes with a routine. You wait in line. You are allowed to buy a pitcher of margs while you wait in line. You order and then you sit. If you sit at a table before you order, you mess everything up, and you will be told to move your butt.

The Flying Biscuit is my favorite place to get breakfast/brunch in Atlanta. I also own the cookbook (gift from my mom last Christmas). It’s not a fancy place, but the food is to die for. There are multiple locations, but they all have the same vibe, hippy chic. The restaurant offers SOYsage instead of sausage, and they serve turkey bacon.

The Brick Store Pub is a small bar/restaurant in Decatur, GA (near where I live now).
