This is a fantastically complex and mind-blowing beer. For the full story behind it, check out this New Yorker article. The beer is aged in special wood barrels. It gives the beer some complex vanilla and caramel notes. This is an intense dark beer, and Eric and I accidently drank it first last night. Warning, it’s 12% ABV. Whoops! Save this one for the end of the night.
