I’ve already reviewed this bar, but it’s now been added to my list of favorite places in Chicago. I went there again last Friday and had another exceptional experience.
Here are some gorgeous (for iPhone) shots of some of the cocktails our table had:

The Oldest Living Confederate Widow. (gin based, had honey, lemon and absinthe in it)

The Art of the Choke (This one’s not on the menu. Eric talked to the bartender one night and found out about it. It involves Cynar, which is an artichoke liqueur)

Sazerac (bourbon based. This is how it was delivered. No ice, just a third of a glass)

The Juliet and Romeo (this is one of TVH’s most famous cocktails. gin-based with cucumber and rose)
We tried the peanut butter bites, which were a dessert item, and they were gooey goodness.
I recommend going for pre-dinner drinks to avoid the line. They open at 6pm.
