The Internet at my house is broken, and the Internet at work is pretty shoddy, so I’m backlogged on blogging for a while.
I’ve had 2-3 pretty great meals deserving write-ups, notably at Abattoir and Restaurant Eugene (where I got to meet Chef Linton Hopkins).
Eric was here for the fourth, and I’m going to California for a week starting next Tuesday.
I finish my summer internship this Friday, and while it’s been a good exerience, I’m ready for mini-break before school starts back up. I’m looking forward to this fall, as I got to pick my classes (mainly IP stuff) and I think doing moot court and mock trial will be lots of fun.
In my spare time this summer I’ve been doing some cooking and working with my landlord to get my rental house fixed up. Lots of yard work and coordinating repairs, but I think it shows.
Also, most of my closest law school friends have been out of town for the summer, so it has been an interesting exerience kind of being on my own socially. I’ve gotten a lot closer with some people here, and all in all it’s been a good summer. I know I still have a month left, but with work coming to an end, it feels like a transition period.
Anyway, enough insomniac rambling for one night. Plus, it’s hard to type long entries on my iPhone. I meant for this to be more of an away message, and here we are…
