So I sat in front of the tv last night while doing my French hw, and I watched the super tuesday coverage. CNN had a ridiclous wall that they were “telestrating” with. le sigh.
The most impressive part of the coverage was Obama’s speech. As a former high school speech and debater, I can say if it comes down to McCain v. Obama, I’m voting democrat instead of libertarian just so I can have four years of great public speaking from a president.
I’ve heard some people mention a Clinton/Obama ticket. IMO, no f-ing way that’s happening. Barrack is too smart to hitch his cart to Hillary.
Also, I enjoyed how Barrack’s chant (one of them) is “Yes we can” similar to the United Farm Workers under Chavez ( Si se puede!).
Also also, Jinny pointed out that watching Barrack speak isn’t unlike watching a gospel minister preach. Same cadence, call and refrain aspect. Interesting.
