I ran into one of my male aquaintances on the street today. He is probably the guy friend of mine with the best manners.
In the “olden days” men would doff their hats at ladies they passed in the street as a sign of respect. Today I got the modern day equivalent- pulling one iPod earbud out of the ear for a quick, “hi, how are you”.
