I seem to have caught a cold this weekend. I managed to avoid catching one all winter, which I attribute to living in my own clean apartment. The dorm and sorority house were always incubi of disease.
So, to try to fend it off, I’m doing my typical routine, chugging water to flush out my system, steam showers to help my sinuses, and pumping myself full of meds. I’m about to hop in a steamy shower and then make myself a pot of decaf tea. I’m going to need it to get through my work tonight: watching two French New Wave films.
My final project for French (editing together shots demonstrating French New Wave film techniques) is due on Tuesday. So, if I manage to watch all the movies tonight and make a list of the shots I’m planning on using, editing and writing a short paper tomorrow should be a breeze.
