I’ve also realized that now that I posted the link to this blog on facebook, it’s essentially public. I just went back and checked the entries and we’re good to go.
This isn’t meant to be a personal diary. I don’t share every detail of my life here, and it’s not a well-rounded sample of who I am. That’s something you’d have to experience in person.
I was inspired to start seriously blogging daily after sitting down over winter break and reading my study abroad journal. While I was in France, I wrote in my journal every day. Those entries were definitely too personal to share on the internet, but it was just so refreshing to read a record of my thoughts every day for two months.
I want this blog to be something other people enjoy reading, but also I want to be able to read through the archives and remember things about this period in my life that I would have otherwise forgotten.
