Cliche Pun on Book Title

eat. drink. be merry.

Ok, so all of the reservations have been made.  On graduation weekend, Thursday night I’m going to Charlie Trotter’s with Eric’s family and we will be sitting at the kitchen table (“Seating is available for four to six guests at our kitchen table (which typically books four months in advance”).  Friday morning will be a brunch with both families.  Friday night after the big Northwestern graduation, my family (including aunts, uncles et cetera) will be going to Jacky’s Bistro and sitting in the private wine cellar room.  Then, as the finale, on Saturday night, my mom, Eric and I are eating at Alinea

This is a picture of a dish from Alinea.

Alinea and Trotters are two of the Chicago restaurants I’ve been dying to try since coming to Chicago.  Glad I’ll hit them up before I leave.  Jacky’s bistro is probably my favorite Evanston restaurant.  My mom and I discovered it the first time she came to visit.  We were looking for a different restaurant on Central that had closed.  We just walked in Jacky’s on a whim, and now we go there every time she comes to visit.
