Just got an email about Apple’s new MobileMe service. I don’t think it’s something I need.
I use GMail, so my emails are already synced. I don’t make that many changes to my contacts/calendar, and when I do I can just plug my phone into my computer to sync them. Since I only have two devices, that’s not that much of a hassle. I share photos on facebook and my blog, so I don’t really need the photo sharing, and I have an external hard drive for storage.
I don’t know, maybe I’ll get bored and try it because they’re offering a free trial, but I think I’d have to switch to using Apple Mail instead of GMail, and I’ve tried a few times, GMail is just more convenient.
