Cliche Pun on Book Title

eat. drink. be merry.

The first burger I ever had in a restaurant was at In n’ Out Burger in California. Five Guys is giving In n’ Out Burger a run for its money on the East Coast. The chain started in Virginia. The first time I has ever in a Five Guys was in DC. Apparently the chain has spread to Atlanta now.

It’s a burger joint, and burgers are pretty much all they do. They make everything with fresh ingredients. The fries are to die for, and they list where the potatoes were grown on a white board on the wall. Boxes of peanuts are sitting on the counters for you to munch while you wait. To order, pick one or two patties, cheeseburger or plain, and then choose your toppings. All toppings are included in the price.

My burger was fantastic. I love a toasted bun on a burger, and all of the toppings were really fresh. The fries were perfectly salted and some had the skin still on them.

The decor is nothing. It’s red and white, but it’s clean. The service is friendly, but at the end of the day it’s fast food.
