My mom had been raving about Ecco for a while now, so when they were a part of Midtown restaurant week, I figured we should give it a go.

The restaurant has a nice Mediterranean vibe. They pride themselves on their excellent wine list, which I enjoyed. The food at Ecco was clean and simple Euro fare. I had a three course menu with a salad, a pizza, and a dessert.

Overall, I was impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the cohesive flavor combinations. The decor is simple, farm-style tables with flowy curtains. Service was a bit off, but it was a busy Saturday night. The place attracted a mixed crowd of old and young people, lots of women in their 20s in cute dresses.
It’s not a hotspot, but it’s a good place for a nice dinner to catch up with friends.
