Christine and I had brunch at Food101. We sat on the patio, and it was simply perfect. They have a fantastic brunch menu with tons of organic and locally grown/raised choices. Christine had the world’s most scrumptious mimosa and I stuck with coffee. I decided on the sliced local tomatoes with goat cheese.

I’ve been on a tomato binge recently. This was a fresh and interestingly prepared dish. Afterwards I had the hashbrown casserole. It looked like something I would order after a long night of drinking. Hashbrowns, cheese, jalapeno peppers, bacon and crab meat. Food101 is definitely going on my brunch spot list after this. I would also recommend it for a mid-level dinner spot, a good place to go with a small group of people for a nice dinner that won’t break the bank.
