Cliche Pun on Book Title

eat. drink. be merry.

Sooo, after trying 3 different brands of green juice (juice based on vegetables and chock full of vitamins), Here are the results (on a five star system):

Arden’s Garden Multi-Green (*) I couldn’t even get halfway through this juice, each sip felt like death. It left me burping up weird tastes for the rest of the day. This one is probably the healthiest of the bunch, though, considering it is the only one that was made from pure vegetables. If you’re going to be militant about your green juicing, hit up Whole Foods for this one. (I think Arden’s products are Atlanta-only).

Naked Juice Green Machine (***) This juice was muuuch better because it included fruit. I drank it slowly, while working on a memo. It did keep me going and fill me up like a small granola bar would. I liked this one, but I think their other flavors (like Blue Machine) are better.

Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness (****) Definitely my favorite juice of the bunch, this one tasted the freshest, and I loved the consistency. It’s like drinking a really satisfying smoothie. Again, not as healthy as Arden’s pure veggie juice, but I enjoyed drinking it, and it’s better than a candy bar or a bagel for a snack. I also like Bolthouse Farms’s other juices. They have a berry smoothie that’s delicious. Look for Bolthouse Farms at Publix or Kroger, because they’re waaay overpriced at Whole Foods.

Also, random tip, I recently started using Soy creamer in my coffee. I can’t taste a difference between it and half-n-half, but it’s way better for you. Soy has 1/3 the fat, less calories and no cholesterol.
