I was hard craving some barbecue (‘cue) today, so I hatched a plan to get some tonight. Elliott, Andrew and I went to Fat Matt’s for dinner. The place smells divine, and they have an excellent hand painted menu on the wall.

I ordered my usual, pulled pork. I was kind of disappointed that it came with Lay’s potato chips instead of fries or beans, but c’est la vie. Andrew’s ribs came with the classic white bread for sopping up the sauce. About halfway through our meal a band showed up and started playing music on stage (by “band” I mean two old dudes with guitars).
(from someone’s flickr I forgot to take pics of my food)
The bbq was pretty good, but not amazing. The slice of pecan pie I had for dessert was out of this world, however. It’s cheap enough and good enough that I’d recommend it to friends looking for a super casual place to grab dinner.
