I’m not very good at communicating via the telephone. However, I’m on my computer practically all the time. I find that I keep in touch best with the people who are online a lot. Tumblr is more in-depth, and I can see how if you’re not a writer, the idea of keeping a blog can be daunting/pointless. HOWEVER, Twitter, I think everyone could get into. It seems a little pointless at first, but having that passive view into peoples’ lives really makes me feel more connected to them. It’s like a facebook status update.
As far as google reader goes, I love getting updates from all of the blogs/websites I read in one place. I also love the availability to share posts with friends. Unfortunately I only have two google reader friends.
So, this is a call to arms! Join tumblr/twitter/google reader and BE MY FRIEND!
