So far “match” has decided to let others initiate communication. Match figures if potential dates are emailing and “winking” at her then Match can respond to the interesting ones and see where things go from there.
This is interesting because in Megan’s article she had the opposite strategy. She discusses assertiveness in online dating and whether it’s a turn-on or a turn-off. Megan winked and emailed at every guy she was interested in. Match is trying to be cool and aloof, at least for now. In Megan’s article she reported that the guys found assertiveness to be a turn-off. We’ll see how this plays out.
QUESTION:
Match is 24. Is a 35 year old guy too old for Match?
Personally I can’t see myself with anyone more than 5 years older than me, but I know it works sometimes.
