Eric’s coming to town for the weekend, which means I have an excuse to go to a restaurant!
He and I will be dining at Watershed on Friday evening. Chef Scott Peacock is well-known for his modern take on southern classics.
Then- sadly after Eric leaves on Sunday- my mom is taking Christine and I to the symphony. After the symphony we’ll be having dinner at South City Kitchen. Two modern-southern restaurants in one weekend?!? I know, I must be nuts. But these are both places I’ve been dying to try for a while. I updated my “to-eat” list. Going to try to work my way through it this spring.
Obviously I agreed to the symphony/dinner plan before I realized the Superbowl would be on Feb. 1. Oops. Looks like I’m going to be late to the Superbowl party.
